We purchase conventional vegetable seeds in bulk and repackage to provide seeds in reasonable quantity, to provide fresh vegetables all year round without you wasting any seeds that may not grow next year.
We have done this because we discovered that most seeds are sold in packets containing 100s plus of seeds, do you need 100s plus of cabbage plants etc, All of our seeds are below €1.50 a packet, our seeds are cheaper because you are not paying for fancy packaging, we package our seeds in a glassine envelope then in a plain envelope with sowing instructions on, nice and simple to keep costs down, which is why our seeds ARE value for money.
Below are a selection of vegetable seeds that we think are the most popular for a family, Grow your own vegetables from seed to save money and eat healthy.
Further information on seeds such as storage and seed sizes can be found HERE
Please note postal prices are for Ireland and UK other countries please ask for postal price before buying
We shall also be selling later on young plants called Plug Vegetable Plants if you do not have the facilities or time to raise plants from seeds.
Purchase any packet of seeds and receive via email in PDF form a FREE eBook Essential Guide To Organic Vegetable Gardening

 | | | | Onion Rijnsburger 5
A mid to late summer round onion with yellow brown, firm skin. This variety offers excellent quality, high yields and a very good storage life.
Sow seed March - April in drills 23cm (9") apart in a seed bed or trays and carefully cover with soil
A maincrop sowing will provide fresh onions from mid-summer onwards,
with storage onions being lifted in late summer.
Rijnsburger should be sown in August, so that they reach a height of 15-20cm by mid autumn,
too tall and they may bolt in spring, too short and they may not survive. Do not sow
maincrop or overwintering types late because they will not make up the lost time.
Crop spacing dictates the final bulb size, for a good yield of medium sized onions
space to 5cm, with 25cm between rows, and for larger bulbs space to 10cm in 25cm rows.
